Broken Hoofbeats Part One: Page One

Sooooo, here it is!  I was motivated and decided, why not restart the comic?  It's hilarious because I was looking at the older two versions I made years ago.  Like, YEARS ago.  The first one is so awful, if anyone remembers my LaceyMay days  I did have two pages of this restarted just a couple of years ago which I actually really like and wish I could repurpose one of the pages, but I don't have the PSD format so I can't edit it the way I need to  Oh well!  

Anyway, since I added a new first chapter for the novel anyway which digs into Savir's foal years a little more, so it felt good to give that a little attention.  Look how cute little Savvy is!!    

And as for the style of the comic, I like it like this.  It's not beautiful.  It's not perfect.  It's a little sloppy, but I'm not worried about it.  I want to be able to pump out pages fast when I work on them, so sketchy lines and coloring is how I'm gonna roll 8)  I hope you guys like it, because I'm happy with it.
